Legacy Jewelers may be new in name, but not in experience. I started in the jewelry business 16 years ago in my family’s store Jim Mortimer Jewelers. When I started I was taught everything from my stepfather Jim, who was a bench jeweler, I learned how to detect problems with a piece and have everything repaired, as well as doing custom design and remounts.
I also learned sales firsthand from my mother, Lois and Jim. In 2010 I lost my mother suddenly and then took on more responsibilities. I have worked on the sales floor to making sure every supply we needed to operate the store was ordered. In February 2015, we lost Jim to a 3 year battle with brain cancer. This ultimately led to the closing of the Burlington store.
My husband John and I decided to carry on the “Legacy” so hopefully one day our son Tyler will keep the family business going.

My experience is mostly in customer service and sales. Although I am new to the jewelry business I am eager and ready to help you choose the right piece of jewelry, whether it is a birthday gift or and engagement ring, I would love to help you with your big decision. Julie and I are excited to make you a part of the legacy family for years to come.
